And that folks, was April; and what an amazing month it was! The church weekend away at Bassenfell Manor was, as ever, a wonderful time of teaching, worship, fellowship and fun. Paul’s teaching on Philippians was insightful and encouraging. Thanks everyone for making it special. I know that Hilde loved her surprise party.
Good Friday’s Breaking of Bread service was special as we, as a church family, spent time remembering the sacrifice that was made for us on the cross. This month we will finish our series on Abraham’s life, and move on to Philippians. Even though Paul gave us a sneak peak at the weekend away, we will look in more depth at the four chapters.
We welcome Alec Collins on the 11th April to speak at both of our services. Alec is no stranger to us and we pray that God will use him and guide him as he opens the Bible to us.
This month has two bank holidays as well as a half term. Therefore, check the middle page to see how this affects our services. Don’t forget the foodbank that runs every Wednesday and Friday 10 til 1, and of course Indoor Bowls on Tuesday. More details can be found on our new look website.
